LES SHAMPOINGS … CE AUSSI DU SOLIDE !

SHAMPOOS… THIS ALSO SOLID!

Opting for a natural shampoo is not just an ecological gesture, but also the right beauty choice for its effectiveness.

Fortunately, this trend for natural, organic, vegan or eco-responsible products is here to stay. Since the birth of modern formulations, we have discovered the disadvantages of chemical formulas: sulphates, phthalates, silicones, parabens... Many of these components are present in almost all the shampoos found on the market, but the collective consciousness is growing. more aware of the harmful effects of all these substances. (Referring to products that are really harmful and toxic, since there are so-called synthetic, chemical products formulated in laboratories and controlled that are also effective, but that is another subject, which we will discuss in another post)

THE ADVANTAGES OF USING A SOLID SHAMPOO

. Ecological: With solid shampoos we eliminate the need for plastic bottles , we participate in Zero-waste by considerably reducing their environmental impact and preventing tons and tons of plastic from ending up in landfills and the oceans.

. Healthy: Designed without parabens, sulphates and silicones, solid shampoos are suitable for all hair types depending on their composition.

. Economical: In small formats but effective in their composition, each solid shampoo bar offers many washes, compared to bottled shampoos.

. Practical: Light and compact, they are very easy to transport since they take up almost no space, so welcome to the gym, when traveling, camping...

In our online store you will find some of our creations of plant-based shampoos, vegetable oils and butters, enriched with active ingredients to take care of your hair naturally. Available for different types of scalp!

THE CHOICES OF INGREDIENTS IN THEIR COMPOSITION:

. The liquid: Water, aloe juice, vinegar, floral waters (they have the same virtues and properties (but softer) than the essential oil of the plant from which it comes.)

. Surfactants: ( foaming agent that cleans the hair and solidifies the shampoo)

SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate) Mild surfactant derived from the fatty acids of coconut oil.

SCS (Sodium Coco Sulfate) Sodium Coco Sulfate is the 100% natural coconut based version.

(ITS FIRST TWO ARE THE TENTIOACTIVE INGREDIENTS USED IN OUR SHAMPOOS)

Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate. Surfactant with good foaming power

SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) used in shampoos as a surfactant.

SLSA (Sodium lauryl sulfoacetate)

Among others…

. Plants and mineral powders:

Widely used in natural cosmetics and in solid shampoos, we can use a long list of its very noble ingredients and above all with many benefits, so I only give a few examples:

Mineral powders (clays)

Vegetable powders (Shikakai, corn starch, powdered almond, powdered coconut milk, chickpeas, etc.)

Flower and plant powder (Yarrow, Amla, Burdock, Lemon, Marshmallow, Henna, Iris, Orange, Nettle, Rose, Reetha, Sidr, Bhringaraj and many others)

. Vegetable oils and butters:

To give shine, protect and repair hair and scalp.

Castor oil, Avocado, Jojoba, Olive oil, Hemp, Camelina, Argan, Coconut, Grapeseed etc…

Shea butter, Cocoa, Kokum, Mango butter etc…

. Essential oils or fragrances:

Although the addition of essential oils or fragrances is optional. The essential oils will be chosen according to the properties sought for the care of each type of scalp. However fragrances will be added if desired, but only for its aroma since they do not bring any properties to the hair.

. The dyes:

The addition of dyes is also optional, in addition when we use powdered plants and vegetables in our shampoos, they naturally color the finished product, as clays also do.

CONCLUSION :

What more can I say… since we've been using them at home, we can't live without them! Solid shampoos offer us many benefits for our scalp, in addition they can be used by the whole family. Ecological, healthy, practical and economical… what more could you ask for!
